Our Christmas tree is delivered on Tuesday. P1 children (and other children new to the school) are invited to send a bauble into the school with their name on it to be put on the Christmas tree. This will be put on the tree every Christmas time and returned to the P7 children when the tree is taken down just before the Christmas holidays.
We have to quarantine the baubles before putting them on the tree due to COVID-19 restrictions. For the baubles to be placed on the tree for Tuesday, baubles should be sent in by Friday 27 November. If you send them in later we will put them on after a quarantine period.
It is quite a sight to see the Christmas tree with over 300 baubles on it with the children's names on them.
Our real Christmas tree is again provided by Friends of Bankhead.
