Today the GP room went to Krispy Kreme on a school trip, this was to tie in with our Charlie and the Chocolate Factory topic. We got a tour of the factory to see how the doughnuts are made. We also got to decorate our own delicious, doughnuts with chocolate sauce and sprinkles! We learned a lot of fun facts too - the waste doughnuts go to farms for pigs to eat. Also, the factory produces around 18,000 doughnuts A DAY (usually double this at Christmas and Halloween!).
A great day was had by all....in this picture we are all shouting DOUGHNUTS!!!!!
