Please see details below about 2 Halloween events that are coming up in the school: Halloween Discos and Halloween Parade.
If you do not wish your child to be involved in Halloween activities in school, please inform the school office.
1. Halloween Discos - Thursday 27 October.
Friends of Bankhead have organised discos for the children for this Thursday. Tickets are on sale in school priced £2.00. The disco for P1-P3 is from 6.30-7.30. For P4-P7 it is from 7.45-9.00. Children should enter via the gym hall door. All children MUST be collected by an appropriate adult at the end of their disco.
2. Halloween Parade - Monday 31 October.
The children can come to school on the actual day of Halloween dressed in their costumes if they so wish. We will have a parade for the children in the hall in the morning and other Halloween activities for them to take part in during the day in class. This will be our Change for Charity day for October - suggested donation of £1 per family,
For both these occasions we ask that the children do not wear costumes that are too scary. Also, costumes should not include weapons such as knives, swords etc. If a child has these as part of their costume they will be stored by staff and returned at the end of the disco on Thursday, or at the end of the day on Monday.
