P6 and P7 South Lanarkshire Track and Field Championship Final

Bankhead Primary represented South Lanarkshire track and field Championship final on Thursday the 20^th June at John Wright Sports Centre. 15 children from P6 and P7 represented the school. Children particpated in the 600m, 100m, relay team, javelin and long jump. We are delighted to share the exciting news that Amy in P7 received a bronze for javelin, Aidan in P6 received a silver for 100m and Lewis in P6 received a gold and a SLC record for throwing 15.1m in the javelin. We are so proud of all of the pupils who have particpated throughout the events. Well done!!!
