Dear Parents and Carers,
After our meeting on Friday and then consultation with Mr Hamill, the Fundraising Committee have decided that we would like to donate our March ‘Change for Charity’ money to Comic Relief - a Charity that helps tackle poverty both here in the UK and around the world.
As ‘Red Nose Day’ is this Friday the 15th March, we will be holding March’s dress down day on this date, instead of at the end of the month. The committee would like pupils to dress in something red (if possible) and we will also be having a ‘Crazy Hair’ competition on the day for anyone who wishes to take part. Red noses and Comic Relief t-shirts may also be worn. As always, there is a suggested donation of £1 per family on the day to dress down. We will be organising activities for each class to take part in, if they so wish. These are free of charge and pupils do not need to bring any extra money to school.
More information on this worthwhile charity and event can be found at

Many thanks in advance for your support with this.
Kind regards,
Mrs Alexander and the Fundraising Committee
