The children will also be gifted their ‘Read, Write, Count’ bags on this date. This event will start at 2.15 pm and last until just before hometime. Due to space, we can kindly only accommodate 2 adults per child.
More information about these educational bags is given at the website below.

Reading Books Home Today

Dear All,

Everyone has been issued with a reading book to read tonight and bring back tomorrow. A few children in Wonderful Wonkas don't have a book because we are short. They will get a turn at taking the book home tomorrow.

We use them in class to answer questions, please make sure they are kept in school bags after reading.

Thanks Miss MacVey

Information

Good afternoon,

Due to it being a 4-day week there is only a literacy task for homework.  It is a double-sided worksheet reinforcing our two new sounds of 'm' and 'd'.  Please also use your sounds and common word flashcards to reinforce all prior learning.
Some children will be given the ‘ar’ sound home to revise and a new reading book.

I want to share some websites that you can use at home to reinforce teaching and learning.   These websites are Doorway Online and  Topmarks both have a variety of Literacy and Numeracy resources including letter and number formations.

With Nativity and School Show rehearsals coming up the hall is unavailable for PE.  We will aim to go outside on our usual PE days if the weather is suitable.

Room 2 would like to invite you to come into our class on Monday the 24th of November at 2:00-2:40 to join us in our Literacy work as we are all receiving our Book Bug Bags and will be doing activities in class using these.  We hope you can make it.

Thanks
Mrs Jolly

Room 1 Week Beginning 10/11/25

Good morning,
I hope you had a lovely long weekend.

Due to it being a shorter week this week there is only a literacy task for homework.  It is double sided and has our two new sounds of 'm' and 'd'.  Please complete this and return by Friday.  Please also use your sounds and words flashcards to reinforce all prior learning.  A new set of sounds flashcards will be issued once we have covered more sounds in class.

At parents night I recommended some websites to people who may wish to use some interactive resources at home too.
