Welcome To Our School

A very warm welcome to Bankhead Primary School and Nursery Class Website. We hope this will give you an insight into our wonderful school and nursery. We enjoy working together and in partnership with parents and carers to ensure all our children are safe, happy and achieving.

We aim to provide a learning environment where all children are supported and challenged to reach their full potential. We value inclusion and celebrate diversity - our children are at the heart of everything we do.

Friday 19th Dec - RM 4 film & snack morning

Hi all,

On Friday 19th December we are going to be watching The Grinch (cartoon version - rated U).

I will be providing the children with a packet of crisps and a small bar of chocolate (Freddo size) - if you would rather your child DID NOT have this snack, please feel free to send them in with an alernative small snack.

Hi all,

Many thanks for the items donated today at the shows for the foodbank.

This message is a reminder to bring any items from the list below along tomorrow to the shows if you can please.

Hi

Here’s some information about next week.

On the morning of Monday 15th December, the’ Wizard of Oz’ pantomime is coming to school. Our Christmas Party will be on the afternoon of Monday 15th December. Children are welcome to come to school dressed in their party clothes or they can wear their uniform to school and bring their clothes in a bag to get changed before the party.

On the morning of Tuesday 16th December, we will be attending the church for our annual Christmas service.

On Thursday 18th December Room 1 and 2 will be having a movie afternoon. Children are allowed to bring a small extra snack and an extra juice to enjoy whist watching the movie. We will be watching Disney’s Aladdin.

Friday 19th December is the last day of school before the winter break. This is also Christmas Jumper Day and we finish school at 2:30pm.

Please could you double check that if your child has a grey coat they have brought home the correct one.  The mix up happened yesterday.  The lost coat does have the name of the pupil on it.

Room 1 dates for the week beginning 15-12-25

Good afternoon,
Next week we have a number of activities happening in school and in class so I wanted to give you an overview of the week.

Monday am - whole school pantomime The Wizard of Oz in school
              pm - P1 and P2 Christmas Party (pupils can wear party clothes to school 
                       or bring a change of clothes)
