Christmas Show Costumes Primary 4 only

Dear All,

Your child will be performing in our p4-7 Christmas Show this year. We keep the costumes simple as we don't want parents to feel under pressure to buy anything new.
Everyone is to wear either black leggings, a skirt and tights, trousers or joggers.
Plain T-shirts, red, green or white.
You are all welcome to wear a bit of tinsel, a Santa hat, or a festive headband.

Can all costumes be put in a plastic bag with your child's name on it and handed into school by Friday 6th Dec. Our first Dress Rehearsal is Monday 9th December.

Pom Poms? Do you have any?

Dear All,

Primary 4 would like to use pom poms for their dance in the Christmas Show. We have 10 sets but are looking for enough for every child (44). Do you have any cheer poms we could borrow and return in perfect condition?

Please contact the office or Miss MacVey if you could help?

Thanks, Miss MacVey and Mrs Farrell (Primary 4)

Room 1 week beginning 25-11-24

Good morning,
I hope you managed to enjoy the snow over the weekend!

This week is the last week of homework before the holidays.  Although there will be no formal homework after this week I will set games on Education City which you are welcome to use if you would like to and I would recommend still using the flashcards each day to reinforce the sounds and words which we have been learning so far.

This week we are learning both 'c' and 'k'.  There is a written formation sheet coming home today and games set on Education City.  I have also sent home the next set of sounds flashcards.  Please cut these up and add them to the set sent home previously.

In numeracy we are finishing our addition stories.  An addition sheet is coming home today along with games on Education City.

If you have any raffle tickets at home please could these be returned.

If you have clothes for our show please send these in in a named bag for your child.  Details were given in a letter last week.

Our Christmas lunch letter was also sent out last week  Please note the 3 options on the letter are the only options that day.  If your child does not like any of those options please send in a packed lunch for them on that day.

We are also collecting tree baubles for our school Christmas tree which is arriving today.  If you would like to add a bauble to the tree please send one in with your child's name on it.

On Saturday it is our Christmas Fair.  We hope to see you there.

Please get in touch if you have any questions.
Regards,
Mrs Stevenson
